This antique vase is by ‘Höganäs Keramik’.
No other Swedish town is as closely associated with ceramics as Höganäs.
Kilns have been fired here for nearly two hundred years. Höganäsbolaget built its first kilns here in 1825.
Founded in 1909, Andersson & Johansson eventually became world renowned under the name Höganäs Keramik.
Numerous independent artists and potters have helped to establish Kullabygden’s reputation as a centre of Swedish ceramic art and design.
Tan, beige and warm browns, orange detail on handles (can be shown off from one side or if displayed to the other side the vase is more neutral, see pics).
Immaculate condition. This is a rare find!
