JAVELIN — REIMAGINED
Our design approach was layered — much like styling the perfect outfit.
Each element was considered in sequence: tone, texture, movement and detail. Pieces working together to create a cohesive look, yet each strong enough to hold its own identity.
The result is a space that feels unmistakably Javelin. Confident. Curated. Individual.
More than a shop, it is a destination — an immersive shopping experience designed to feel exciting, effortless and genuinely welcoming from the moment you step inside.
This is retail design that tells a story.
A boutique with rhythm, personality and presence — crafted to make customers feel inspired, comfortable and completely engaged in the experience.
Our aim was simple: to create an experience that feels unmistakably Javelin — fashion-forward, curated, confident and memorable.
Bespoke design
At the centre of the space sits a fully bespoke display table, designed exclusively by House of Bo for Javelin.
Its sculptural ‘melted metal’ leg captures the movement and fluidity of draped fabric — appearing soft and tactile despite its industrial materiality, giving the piece an unmistakable edge.
The high-gloss top subtly mirrors the tone chosen for the ceiling, creating a considered visual dialogue within the room, while the pillar leg is finished in a matt finish in a striking red-orange hue that delivers an unexpected pop of energy. Together with the front-room palette, the colours draw inspiration from sunset tones — warm, inviting and layered with depth.
Innovative and unapologetically fashion-forward, this statement piece is designed not only to display product, but to elevate the entire boutique experience.
Throughout the boutique, every element has been designed and curated to create a distinctive Javelin atmosphere.
The rugs each tell their own story — the middle floor rug is playful and reminiscent of sailor tattoos, while the rug beneath the display table is a one-of-a-kind piece sourced from Morocco with colours to inspire.
The changing room curtains carry a marbled effect reminiscent of a beautifully veined tree trunk — echoing the beams of the building. Both the curtain textile and the playful wallpaper are designs by Henry Holland, the iconic British fashion designer now working in textiles and homeware — a fitting creative link between fashion and interiors.
The changing room benches have been reupholstered in the same silver fabric as the service counter. Metallic accents such as the silver mushroom lamp and the sculptural melted-metal leg of the display table add a bold edge — a moment of the bold meeting the beautiful.
Anchoring the space is the artwork “Roseate Hues”, a hand-painted piece in a deep brown acrylic frame. It acts as a scene-setter, tying together the tones of the boutique and creating a contemporary focal point as well as giving you the most fabulous backdrop.
Every choice is considered - every piece contributing to the experience.
Colour feels
Colour was used almost like therapy. Soft yet energising tones inspired by the beauty of a sunset to create warmth, emotion and atmosphere.
Hues shift subtly throughout the space, guiding the customer journey and enhancing the collections on display without overpowering them.
JVLN
Branding placement
Throughout the Javelin redesign, we introduced new logo-driven branding details — applied with a light hand but a strong point of view.
Bold in scale yet subtle in execution, these cool graphic moments sit effortlessly within the space. Quietly impactful, they sharpen Javelin’s edge — never overwhelming, but never mistaking where you are.
One key feature is designed as a natural photo moment, inviting selfies that organically promote the brand.
The result
A bold transformation designed to elevate the customer experience — where colour, flow and curated moments create a space that feels as powerful as the fashion it holds.
