4 Bedroom House | Bury St Edmunds
This newly renovated house has been meticulously updated to a high standard, featuring an exceptional kitchen, dining, and living area that seamlessly connects to the outdoor space.
Despite these appealing features, the vacant rooms did not resonate with potential buyers or convey the true essence of the lifestyle that the house could provide.
After a couple of months on the market, House of BO stepped in and staged each room, enabling prospective buyers to envision how they might live in the space through carefully planned layouts and curated décor, enhancing the viewing experience and help develop an emotional connection with the property.

Layout. Flow. Atmosphere.
Our primary goal was to breathe life into this remarkable room while highlighting all of its features. Then, giving each area its own function to suggest how one would live in the space.
The contemporary furniture and decor were selected for their broad appeal, ensuring the property remains fresh and relevant. Every detail was meticulously thought out to create a cohesive and functional space to enjoy.

setting the scene
Inviting. Lifestyle details.
An elegantly simple table arrangement enhances the visual appeal and depth of the area, while also ‘selling’ a lifestyle and promoting the social aspects that the property provides.
House of BO loves art! A few curated and strategically positioned wall art gives the space identity and warmth.

selling the dream
Function. Emotion.
A selection of carefully chosen kitchenware items serves as strong focal points and has been selected to convey a narrative. For instance, the coffee station enhances the inviting atmosphere of the area and subtly nurture a sense of wellbeing.
Additionally, the bar stools are informally arranged around the kitchen island to facilitate conversation and promote a visual link to the outdoor space.

Contemporary & sophisticated
Layout. Atmosphere.
Given the modest size of the living room, a thoughtful arrangement of furniture was essential to establish an open and welcoming atmosphere.
The room's design remains contemporary and sophisticated, featuring a neutral colour scheme and varied textures to create a layered interior. This approach aims to encourage an emotional bond with potential buyers, allowing them to envision themselves living in the space.
The staging of this property was accomplished by thoughtfully choosing rental furniture that fit the aesthetic and adhered to the budget. To finalise our furniture selection, several pieces were bought to further improve the success of the staging outcome.
To effectively style the entire house, House of BO sourced and provided a significant quantity of soft furnishings, lighting, artwork, decorative items, and kitchenware. Every room's layout, identity, and function were meticulously taken into account. The sourcing process and application of appropriate styling techniques were essential in creating cohesive and welcoming spaces.
Before the bedrooms were staged, potential buyers found it challenging to understand how they could effectively use an empty room.
To assist them in visualising the space and make sense of its potential, several essential bedroom furniture items were chosen and thoughtfully placed.
The staging process has transformed this difficult top floor bedroom layout into a practical area, and it is now our favourite room! Staging excels at problem-solving, thinking creatively, and optimising space decisions that can convert any drawback into an advantage, ultimately enhancing the value of your property.
